Reunion 55 Save the Date

The Reunion Team is excited to share our first update about our 55th class reunion in 2026.

Last October, we sent out a survey to gather your input, and your responses were incredibly helpful. Many of you expressed interest in a relaxed afternoon gathering in Central Jersey or at the Jersey Shore, and more than 75% preferred a buffet-style luncheon meal. Most importantly, the message was clear—you’re looking forward to reconnecting, reminiscing, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

After team members researched, and got prices from a dozen venues, we visited six of those in Central NJ and the Shore area. We are happy to announce that our 55th Reunion will be held at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, NJ, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We’ve extended the hours to give everyone plenty of time to catch up! The venue is conveniently located right off Exit 100 of the Garden State Parkway, making it easy to reach.

More details about pricing, hotel options, etc., will be coming soon, but please save the date for now. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

IHS ’71 Reunion 2009 #38

Here are some photos as a slideshow from our reunion in 2009. It was not a 5 or 0 year and so it was dubbed the “Just Because” Reunion. We can also call it Runion #38.

Reunion #10 1981

Here is a (too brief) look back at Reunion #10 in 1981. I did not attend this reunion  – not that I remember, but I’m not in the group photos and I don’t have a Madison Ave. School photo, so I suppose I did not.

I have more photos from the later reunions but I thought I would post #10 first in the hope that people would be encouraged to contribute their own 1981 photos from the event. You can send photos to the reunion team at ihsclassof1971 at gmail.com and I will update this page.

Many of the photos on this website have been seen online in our 1971 Facebook group, the general IHS Facebook group or on classmates’ individual pages, but we know that there are more photos out there in your collections. (I always recommend that people use the Google PhotoScan app on their phone to make good quality copies of paper photos.)

The photos on this site are somewhat resized depending on your device and browser, but you can download the full-size images as you would any online image.
